When Lots are Withdrawn Admin Web

When Lots are withdrawn from Auction, where do they go I hear you ask? Or maybe more to the point what do they look like online, to the Clients. The answer depends on the type of Auction. Live, Sealed Bid or Timed. Below is what you need to know. If you also need to know how to withdraw Lots, see this article.

Live Auctions

Withdrawn Lots on the online Catalogue show a placeholder image, & the Lots title is replaced with the text "Withdrawn Lot" for Live Auctions. The clickable link to the Lots detail is also removed, & if someone did manage to access the withdrawn Lots Detail page they would be redirected to the Catalogue, but also with a notification banner at the top informing the Lot had been withdrawn.

Sealed Bid Auctions

With Sealed Bid, the Lots title & actual image are still shown on the Catalogue page. The clickable link to the Lots detail page is actually available, & clicking on it will mean being redirected to the Catalogue, but also with a notification banner on the top of the page informing the Lot had been withdrawn.

Timed Auctions

In Timed Auctions the Lot is not shown at all. But if anyone does happen to land on the Lots detail page, they will also get redirected to the Catalogue page with the addiction of a notification banner informing the Lot had been withdrawn.
