Cashiers - Show Me The Money

Needing to Manage Buyers, Send Invoices, Send Settlements, Print Collection receipts? Snoofa comes with a Cashiers section, giving you the ability to do all that and more. Click on Cashiers within Main Navigation, & select the desired auction by clicking on it. Then choose what you need to do, from the various options, explained below.

How-To Manager

The first tool within the Cashiers box, is Manager. Within Manager you can manage individual Lots or multiple Lots. Manager enables you to perform tasks such as Set as Collected, Manage Item Charges & more, as well as giving you the ability to search & filter so you can find just the lot(s), you are wanting to manage.

TIP: Click on the number within the Invoices or Settlements columns to go directly to those sections within Cashiers 

How-To Presales

Here you can generate & send Presale Advice documents. Listing for your Vendor the Items being offered for sale, giving them a chance to check over the details & notify you of any errors or omissions. Snoofa gives you the ability to generate & send them individually or in bulk.

Head to Presales, within Cashiers. You can use the select boxes to choose which or all Presales you wish to generate & send, or use the options within the Action column to deal with them individually. You can find more detail on the Presale Advice here, on this Knowledge Base.

How-To Invoices

An essential of business, invoicing, Snoofa gives you the tools you need. Your Invoices come in PDF format, & you can find detail here of the Invoice document itself. Invoices can be sent individually or in bulk, for more on Invoice sending see this page.

Another useful part of the Snoofa Invoicing System, is the Invoice Questionnaire, for details see here. It could save you a lot of time, but is optional.

How-To Settlements

One of the most time-consuming aspects of an auction day can be informing Vendors of the results of their Lots. Often they will call up in the middle of an auction wanting to know how much their Lot(s) made. In Snoofa it is possible to send all of the auction results to Vendors in bulk via email, to speed up your admin.

How-To Introducer Commission Presales & Settlements

The Introducer version of Presales & Settlements, are about referrals, which can be a large part of an Auction House's business. Paying an Introducer an Introductory commission, so they receive a proportion of what an Item sold for, is a great way to encourage it & increase business.

How-To Buyers

The Buyers section within Cashiers shows you exactly that, your Buyers. You can use it to see who they are, their Paddle number, Lots they won, & their invoice numbers. All these snippets of information are also convenient links to the real thing, along with an Action menu right end of the Datagrid, giving options such as Show Lots. Also as with all our Datagrids, the search filter.

How-To Pickups

Pickups lists for you, arranged pickups / collections. Buyers who have chosen to collect their purchases from any locations you have offered, allowing you to click, Set as Collected. When they collect! 

You will also find each listed Pickup includes convenient links to the Clients account, the Invoice for the goods, & the Lots page.

How-To Collections

Generate those receipts, get those Items out of your way, sold or unsold. The collections section enables you to get the job done, including having a Filter, to enable searching for what you are looking for.

When you first click to bring up Auctions, it gives you a Datagrid with the ability to filter the ones you may be looking for, as well as the tool to Add New Auction, as the button says.
