More updates to Snoofa this week. We hope you find them useful. Thank you as always for all of the feedback.
Latest Updates
Preserving Information of Old Lots
Often, sadly, lots can be unsold and need to be re-offered in another auction.
It is often the case that the details of the lot can be altered when it is added to the new auction. E.g. the reserve and estimates are lowered to attract more interest.
Re-offered lots still show in the past auction lists that they were in on the web module. Up until now, if the item was edited for its next auction, the info displayed in the previous auction would change. This could mean that the past record of the lot was inaccurate, not showing what was actually true at the time.
Now, if information is edited once a lot has been resolved as sold, it will not change the past auction record. This rule applies to all of the cataloguing fields, Sensitive Item Selection, Saleroom Notice, Estimates, Starting Bid and Reserve fields.
Archiving Clients
It is now possible to archive clients from the system.
There is also a new Archived filter on the Clients datagrid to find these clients easily:
Bug Fixes
- An irritating red 'failed' message was appearing when attempting to download invoices or generate files. This is despite there actually being no failure at all. The erroneous message has been removed.
- The 'View Auction' button in the client zone will now go straight to the auction catalogue, rather than the upcoming auctions list.
- If the preferred language set on the CSV file used for importing clients was listed as e.g. 'English' instead of the code 'en', the system would not recognise it. Now this format will be recognised.
- Some report PDFs were not formatting correctly as they had extra text. This has been resolved.
