Latest Updates: Snoofa v22.37

Modified on Thu, 15 Sep, 2022 at 1:40 PM

Wednesday 14th September

Like the rest of the United Kingdom and the world, we are deeply saddened by the loss of HM Queen Elizabeth II. We give our deepest condolences to the Royal Family.

Latest Updates

Client Zone - New View

Client Zone

We have made the Client Zone easier and quicker to navigate.

Instead of needing to find their Watch List, Bids, and Invoices within the Buying section, this can now be accessed directly from the main menu. The Buying tab has been removed. This will allow clients to find what they are looking for more easily.

Communication to Client Why ID is Declined

Client Zone and Snoofa Back Office

It is now clearer to registrants why their ID has been declined in the client zone; we are showing an explanation bubble which will populate with the reason given by admins.

This information can also be added to the automated 'Advanced Certification Declined' email template by inserting the new [decline_reason} variable.

New Status for Registrants

Snoofa Back Office

For client registrations, we have made it clearer for admins to see how far a client has advanced in the process.
Where there is an ID that needs reviewing by an admin, the client will have a new status called Advanced: ID to Check.

Clients who have had their ID rejected will have the Advanced: Declined status. Only clients who are in the Advanced: ID to Check state will show up in the client bubble, making it clearer how many clients actually need attention.

Improvements to Navigation of Clerking Screen

Snoofa Back Office

We have made the clerking screen in the Snoofa Back Office easier to navigate. Now this screen can be filtered by Category, Auction Day and Lot Number.

Secondary Email Field as Primary Contact

Snoofa Back Office

In the scenario where a client is created with the primary email field left blank (Client has no email box is ticked) and the secondary email field is populated, emails from the system will now be sent to the secondary email address.

New 'Owes' Column on Settlement and IC Settlement Datagrids

Snoofa Back Office

Sometimes vendors and introducers can be paid their settlement in
instalments. If this is the case it is particularly useful to be able to easily see how much is owed to each client.

This is why we added the Owes column to the Settlement and IC Settlement datagrids.

See which lots have been collected on Invoices

Snoofa Back Office

To make life easier when doing invoicing and organising collections, it is now possible to see which lots on an invoice have been collected.

Small Tweaks

  • We've hugely increased the character limit of the External Reference field, so longer references can be included and shown on paperwork.
  • Previously, when searching for a past lot on the web module, the hammer price wouldn't be visible. This could only be viewed via the past auctions list. Now the hammer price will display in all scenarios, if this setting is enabled.
  • The Export for UK Auctioneers CSV didn't previously include the Subtitle, Details and Measurements cataloguing fields. Now it does.
  • A warning banner will now appear on auction pages for clients who have not completed the basic verification required in order to be able to bid.
  • Lots on collection PDFs will now always be in lot order.
  • Clients can now be registered to timed and sealed bid auctions by admins.
  • Datagrids and lists have had the ordering logic tweaked, so they will now always default to a pure numerical order:

  • Update to the dashboard statistics for timed auctions:

  • New warning messages on the lot detail and in the client zone when a client has exceeded the AML threshold amount. This will not prevent the client from being able to bid:

Bug Fixes

  • Fix to the lot numbers not showing for unsold lots on collection PDFs.
  • Fix to issue with deleting images from the file manager.
  • Clients imported from GAP (the-saleroom) were not being marked as buyers when they already existed in Snoofa. This was causing issues so now they will have the buyer role attached.
  • For online valuation responding, when some text was added into the response editor, clicking the green save button on the specialist input section would cause the whole page to reload so any text added into the response editor would be lost unless it has already been sent. Now hitting the save button will only reload the specialist input section, not the whole page, preventing this issue occurring.
  • The lot label quantity was not displaying correctly on the item detail page - now it is.
  • It was possible to update locked documents when it shouldn't have been, by using bulk actions. This has now been prevented.
