Today is a good news day. We’ve made a big release - Snoofa v42 - with new features for bidding online, moving items between consignments and finance improvements. Read on to find out more.

⭐️ New Features

Register for a Live Auction

CLIENT ZONE WEB

To make it clearer for clients who would like to bid on a live auction on the web module, we’ve added an Online registration option in the registrations area of the Client Zone. N.B. They can still participate in auctions online without completing this step, their registration will be created automatically.

Clients can also navigate to this section by clicking on the Register to Bid button on the auction details of a planned auction.

Client Zone Auction Banner

CLIENT ZONE WEB

To make it easier for clients to find their way to an auction in progress, a banner now appears in the client zone to direct them to the auction(s).

If the auction is running and Snoofa Live is being used, they will directed to the current lot page. Otherwise they will be directed to the auction catalogue.

Moving Items Between Consignments

ADMIN

Up until now, it has not been possible to move items between different consignments if the items were already in an auction which had been launched. This changes now.

It is now possible to move one or multiple items between consignments even if they’re in an auction in progress or one that has ended. However, if the item(s) are already part of a settlement, this won’t happen automatically. There will be a warning message and the user will be required to delete the relevant settlement before being able to move the items.

‍️ Collector Name

ADMIN

It’s now easier to manage the collections process. When marking an item or invoice as collected, it is now possible to select an existing client in Snoofa who is the collector of that item(s). They can then be seen and searched for on the Collections screen and their name will appear on the collection PDF.

Also, anywhere there is a tick next to the item to show it has been collected, such as on the Catalogue and Manager screens, the collector name will appear in the tooltip (info bubble).

ℹ️ Collection Information

ADMIN

To make it easier to know which items have been collected and who they’ve been collected by, we’ve made a couple of additions to the item detail:

  • The blue collected label at the top of the screen will now show the collector name in the tooltip (info bubble)

  • When an item has been collected, there is now a link to the collection PDF in the Sold for widget

External Reference Field

ADMIN

There is a new External Reference field added to the cataloguing screens. This can be found as a column on the consignment datagrid on as a field on the item detail. Any text written in this field will then show on the following vendor documents:

Consignment, Presale, IC Presale, Settlement and IC Settlement

The External Reference also appears as a column on the main items datagrid.

Settlement Date

ADMIN

We’ve made some changes to the Settlement and IC Settlement to remove the confusion around the settlement payment dates. Up until now, these documents would show the date selected as the settlement date in the auction edit page, irrespective of when the actual settlement was made.

The Paid by Monday Transfer on Monday 1st June box has been removed and replaced with a settlement due date at the top of the document.
