This article is to help you understand and use the new Valuation Regions feature.

What are Valuation Regions

Snoofa Back Office

Valuation Regions, make it possible to create custom Landing Pages with a Lead Capture Form for different regions of your choice. And the Landing Pages can be used in marketing campaigns to acquire more leads.

Some examples might be the creation of a global region, to collect leads from everywhere and anywhere. Or setting it up for valuations within your premises only. You could set it up to cater for travelling valuation specialists within the UK or anywhere in the world. Or you could even use it for all of the above.

In short, it has been made flexible, so you are able to create the regions you require and use them in the best way for you.

Let's start with creating a Valuation Day. Open the Days page within Valuations, click the Add New Valuation Day button and then begin to complete the form. First choosing the date of your coming Valuation Day.

Then choose the Start Time and End Time, along with Time Zone, this is of course for the times your valuation event will be open to the public.

Next comes Timeslot Length, which represents the number of minutes per appointment and Timeslot Capacity, which is the number of appointments you can handle per time slot, if you have multiple experts giving valuations. All these fields are required fields, as necessary information for creating your Valuation Day.

After this there is Department, you can create departments of your choice within the System Settings > Departments area of Snoofa. Departments are optional.

Category is next on the list, this is a required field. And categories of your choice can be created within System Settings > Item Categories.

Another field you can create and add to, is Specialists. You create or add specialists via System Settings > Users. Simply add a new user, giving them the Role of "specialist". This is not a required field.

What is required, is choosing Location Information. If no Regions exist yet. The Add a New Region banner will appear below Specialists / Location Information.

If one or more regions have already been created, you see will any existing Valuation Region's within the drop down box.

To create new regions, you open the Regions page within Valuations. And just click the Add New Region button. When creating regions you can choose the Disable Landing Page tick box, if you do not want them.

To create Locations within Regions, for example London to go within the England region. You click the Manage Locations button which you will find within the Regions page. And then once inside, you will find the Add New Location button.

When creating a new location, you are best choosing a region for it to belong to, as when creating a valuation day, you will need to choose a location as well as region.

Assuming you have everything you need in place, such as a category, region and location. You can get on with creating a Valuation Day.

The Valuation Days creation page also allows you to add a Cover Photo, to show on the Landing Page, as well as a Header and Description.

Once created you can find the Valuation Days you created listed on your website, under the Valuations menu.

The Valuations Days page lists all the days you have created, allowing Clients to search by location or see the next 3 coming days.

Once they click on their chosen day, they will be presented with a form allowing them to book an available Time Slot for a valuation during your Valuation Day.

Once booked the Appointment will appear to you within the Appointments page, which you can access via Valuations > Days and then clicking on the chosen day or also via the Recent menu, also within Valuations. They will also appear to the Client when logged into their account, within the Client-Zone. Within the Appointments section.

Both these areas allow edits to be made. Admins can change the appointment times, cancel them and even move them to a different Valuation Day.

And Clients can also edit their appointment times or cancel their appointments, inside their Client-Zone area.

Lastly Landing Pages. These Landing Pages with Lead Capture Forms for different regions of your choice and creation, can be used in marketing campaigns to acquire more leads.

When creating a New Region. there is an option to Disable Landing Pages. The default being they are not disabled. Along with that when creating your New Region, you can customise your Landing Pages, Headline text, Description text, Leads Form text, Form Submit Button text and Form Success text.

The URL (web address) of your Landing Page, is made up of your domain name followed by /valuations/ followed by your Regions name. You can also find the URL within Valuations > Regions and then Manage on the Action menu next to the Region.

And this is what your Landing Page will look like before and after a Client submits their name, email and phone.

Any leads your Landing Page gathers can then be found within Valuations > Leads for you to then make use of to assist your marketing and drive up interest and custom.
