Global Search Feature

Sometimes it can be time-consuming to click around to find the page you are looking for. Perhaps an invoice is buried within an auction somewhere but you only know the invoice number and not the auction to look in. This is where the global search comes into its own. You can search across the whole of Snoofa and quickly jump directly to specific pages to save time.

Find the search feature


Press Ctrl + m or click the magnifying glass icon in the top menu:

Regular search

Use the search for regular keywords e.g. London. This will produce search results which you can select:

Quick Commands

You can also use Quick Commands to jump directly to a specific page. For example type item:1234-12 to see the detail of an item on line 12 of the 1234 consignment.

Here’s a full list of quick commands that you can use:

Searched fields

After you type in your query the following fields of the entities are being considered during the search:

  • Notes

    • Note Title

    • Note Body

  • Client

    • First name

    • Last name

    • Email (+ secondary email)

    • Company name

    • VAT number

    • Phone number (+ secondary phone number)

  • Item

    • Title

    • Description

  • Online Valuation

    • Description

    • Result

    • Condition

    • Country of origin

  • Valuation Day

    • Description

    • Street

    • City

    • Country

    • Region

    • Post code

Example: Your search phrase is London

  • Note with a title “Client showed up in London on time“ - will be found

  • Client who’s name is “Jack Londoner will be found

  • Item with a description of “Violin made by Stradivari while he was working in London.“ will be found.
