Happy New Year! Welcome to 2022 and Snoofa’s first release. Here are the details. It is amazing how much Snoofa has evolved since January last year. We’re excited to see the changes roll on throughout this year. |

Latest Updates
Only Winning Bidders Download from the-saleroom | |
---|---|
ADMIN MODULE Due to changes from the-saleroom now only the successful bidders from each auction will be downloaded from GAP into Snoofa using the GAP integration. |
Updates to Client Zone Card Check | |
---|---|
CLIENT ZONE MODULE ADMIN MODULE It is now possible to only download winning bidders from GAP (the-saleroom) using the GAP integration.
|
Trigger PEP, Sanction and Country Checks when they fail | |
---|---|
ADMIN MODULE Up until now, if there was a missing piece of information, for example the client’s country wasn’t filled in, one of the final checks would not run (the country check in this example). Once the information had subsequently been added i.e. the country filled in, there was no way of running this check again, so the advanced process was stuck in In Progress. We’ve now added a button here called Run, which allows you to do these checks again and move the process forward. |
|
GAP Upload: Communication when address is too long | |
---|---|
ADMIN MODULE When uploading an auction to GAP (the-saleroom) the auction address is limited to 50 characters in GAP. There was no way of knowing this before - the upload would just unhelpfully fail. Now, we’ve added a handy message to tell you when the address exceeds the 50 character limit. |
Bug Fixes
Some performance optimisation. We’re always working hard to make the experience smoother and faster.
There was a tedious scenario when a catalogue was uploaded to GAP the images would be left behind. We’ve fixed this, so the catalogue will now happily take the images to GAP with it. We think all involved will much prefer this.
The approved state of the phone check was missing. This was unhelpful, so we fixed it.
Recaptcha wasn’t working. This was a problem, so we made sure it is now working.
There was a rare scenario where a server error message could appear on an item detail. The reason behind this was when the consignment the item was part of had nothing entered into the IC Rate field. This field shouldn’t be left blank if Introductory Commission is applied. Thankfully we’ve now fixed this by ensuring that page can’t be saved without a number in that field. And full marks if you have understood this rather convoluted point.
Some fixes to our integration with Stripe.
