Why isn't the charge I want to add showing?

Sometimes, when you are trying to add a charge to an invoice or settlement, it can be a little frustrating that you can’t see it in the charges options.


You’ve clicked on the tickboxes to select the lot(s) you want to add the charge to, but the charge doesn’t appear…

Explanation

Well, thankfully the resolution is simple, if the explanation is less-so. The reason that you can’t see the charge here is because some charges are lot dependant, basically they ‘expire’ each time the lot is re-offered.


Any charge that is lot dependant needs to be added individually, and not using the bulk actions. That is why you can’t see the charge here.

Solution

Simply add the charge individually to the lot by three dots on the right of the lot row and clicking Manage Charges.

You’ll then see the charge appear in the Charge Type dropdown, where you can select it and update the invoice.
