The Item Detail Page

This page provides you with an overview of the item detail page. This is also where detailed cataloguing happens.

(1) Unique system ID for the item. This is not a client-facing number.
(2) Consignment and line number. 5100 is the consignment number and 3 is the line number of the item within that consignment.
(3) The name of the owner/vendor of the item.
(4) Collect Item allows you to mark the item as being collected and add it to a collection receipt.
(5) This Consignment button will link to the consignment page for this item.
(6) This Owner button will link to the owner detail/profile page for this item.
(7) See Changes will allow you to see all edits made to this page, when they were made and who made them.
(8) Add New Item will add a new, independent, item to Snoofa.
(9) This is the hammer price that the item sold for in an auction. If the item hasn’t sold, this box will provide an option to add an item to an auction.
(10) This will link to the invoice of the purchaser of this item.
(11) This will link to the settlement of the vendor of this item.
(12) The File Manger is where you can see the images for an item and upload or delete.
(13) The Category of the item. New categories can be added in the System Settings.
(14) The Title of the item. This appears in the online catalogue and across all paperwork and datagrids.
(15) Tags can be added to an item to allow granular filtering and search.
(16) Sale room notice is a particular warning message to show to potential bidders. It will show on the online lot detail pages and the Saleroom notices PDF.
(17) Description allows for a long and detailed description of an item in rich text format. This shows on the lot detail page.
(18) The Details box is for specific cataloguing parameters. These can be customised per item category in the System Settings and will appear on the online lot detail page when filled in.

(19) The Measurements box is for specific item measurements. These can be customised per item category in the System Settings and will appear on the online lot detail page via a pop-up when filled in.
(20) Summary of the Consignment of the item.
(21) Basic details of the owner of the item.
(22) A summary of the lot/auction history of an item, showing how many auctions it has been through.
(23) The auction low estimate of the item
(24) The auction high estimate of the item
(25) The auction reserve of the item
(26) The vendor commission rate of the item
(27) The VAT scheme of the item
(28) Any import fee rate associated with the item
(29) Any CITES requirements associated with the item - In the CITES box you can type anything you wish i.e. "ebony". This will trigger the CITES logo to be displayed on the lot in the catalogue, and when clicked on bidders see a pop-up message that there is a regulated material in the lot which may require an additional export licence. This text also shows in Consignment if the CITES column is selected in the filter. More info about CITES here
(30) Loss and Damage Liability
(31) If the item is over 100 years old or not
(32) How many labels should be printed for the item when generating auction labels
(33) Whether the reserve is discretionary or fixed. This is not relevant for online auctions.
(34) Any buyer or vendor charges associated with the item. These can be added or removed. New charges can be set up in the System Settings.
(35) Sold With allows you to add other items to be sold with the item. This will appear on all relevant paperwork.
(36) This will display a bio of the relevant specialist/expert on the online lot page. This bio can be customised in the Users area of the System Settings.
(37) Listing the item as sensitive will not display the hammer price online once it has been sold.
(38) The VAT rate associated with the item.
(39) Add an internal note related to the item.
(40) Delete the item from Snoofa completely.
(41) Save any changes made to the item.
