Adding a new auction should only take a few minutes. Watch the video and read on to find out how.
Start creating your new auction by clicking the plus icon on the top panel menu or by clicking the big orange Add New Auction button on the Auctions section. |
Start by choosing the auction type and category.
| |
Your auction needs to have both a short name and a long name.
| |
Both departments and target reserve are optional fields.
| |
| |
The auction Description is where you can add as much text as you like to provide information about the auction. This will be displayed behind the More Information button on the auction catalogue when the auction is in progress and below the other details when the auction is planned (upcoming).
The Important Notice field is a chance to flag up some important information for bidders. This will display above the auction catalogue and on every lot page of the auction.
Upload an auction title image to display above the catalogue (where there is no live stream in use) and on the upcoming auctions page.
| |
| |
Auction Days This is where you schedule the timings of your auction. You can read more about how to do that here.
Sale Events These are a very useful tool to be able to communicate to clients about viewing days and pickup days.

Advanced Settings
|
Estimates You can override the global settings to either show or hide estimates at auction level |
And there you have it! Auction added. All you need to do is hit the green create new button when you’ve finished and the auction is ready for adding lots.
Top tip: Make sure you click the Publish button on the auction dashboard if you want to make the auction details public.
