You might be asking, why can’t I make changes to certain invoices and settlements?
Snoofa has certain parameters whereby invoices and settlements can become locked, so no more changes are possible.
What does Locked mean?
Let’s look at exactly what happens when documents become locked.
Essentially, any action that will affect the total of the invoice or settlement will not be possible.
This includes fields in the Invoice Parameters widget such as:
VAT and Payment Methods
Adding or removing charges will also not be possible
Or updating the document from its current state
It will also not be possible to edit the results of any lots that are attached to a locked document:

Archived Auctions
After archiving an auction, all of the invoices and settlements will be locked. Archiving an auction happens by clicking on the green Archive Auction button on the auction dashboard for an ended auction. Before doing this, a warning message will appear:
Adding Payments
Adding a payment to an invoice or settlement will also lock the document.
Don’t worry though, if a mistake has been made, it is possible to reverse this to make any changes.
Simply remove the logged payment using the red Action remove button on the Payments widget. Then any changes can be made and the payment re-added.
So there you have it, that is what happens when documents are locked. Do get in touch on [email protected] if you have any questions about any of this.
