Aftersales ‍️- Try Again

Unfortunately many Auctions end with unsold Lots, which can create extra work dealing with Clients, & sadly, less revenue. Snoofa has an excellent feature which allows you to maximise the value gained from Auctions & increase sold rates.

In a nutshell, Snoofa allows you to publish a list of all unsold Lots making them available to Aftersale offers, & giving you a second chance at a sale. You can either tailor this list by selecting only specific Lots that you want to submit for Aftersale, or add all of the unsold lots in one click.

This works similar to a Timed Auction, but Bidders submit offers instead of full bidding. Would-be purchasers have a set time period in which to submit their best & final offers.

At the end of this period, if the offer is above the reserve, the person with this highest offer wins the lot - it’s that simple. However, if there are offers below the reserve, you are able to ask the vendors if they are willing to accept an amount below the reserve.

Sounds great, show me how

To start with, select the Aftersale Deadline date and time when adding an auction.

To submit any unsold lots for aftersale, the regular auction first needs to be closed by clicking the Close button.

Bidders will now see the option to submit aftersale offers on the lot detail pages, different from placing regular bids.

Any aftersale offers can be seen in the Bids log for each lot, or in the general Bids History tab. Aftersale offers are coloured yellow.

It is possible to specify which members of staff receive notifications when an aftersale offer has been submitted. To do this, go to the Notifications Settings under the General tab of the System Settings and select the users.

Once you are ready to remove the lots from the website, click the Close button on the Dashboard once again.

So there you have it, that’s the aftersale process. Hopefully this will help you maximise your sales for each auction.
